A working experience of our Business Development Intern

Megha is our Business Development intern at Manchester BIOGEL (MBG). She is an incoming final year student of International Business, Finance and Economics at the University of Manchester and had the opportunity of joining the company this summer. With the restrictions associated with COVID-19, Megha has been working remotely and has had an impressive contribution to the company, particularly in business development area. We asked her what her MBG working experience is and how this will impact her in the future. This is what she said…

“My role at MBG is to aid in business development by generating new business prospects and fine-tuning the digital marketing strategy. Despite having a full-time remote job, I feel well connected to the team. I have been given a great autonomy within my responsibilities in conjunction with a flexible schedule which allows me to maximise my potential. Working closely with the Business Development Manager has improved my knowledge of the sales process as well as using a CRM system efficiently. In addition, I am part of the marketing team that strategically drives the awareness of the company with the use of different digital marketing tools. My time here has been very valuable as I have seen the real-life applications of several things learnt so far at the University. This experience has contributed immensely to my overall skill set and expanded my future opportunities. I am very grateful for the opportunity given to me by MBG.”
